Welcome to our very Italian event!

Join us for the thirteenth edition of the Real Italian Wine & Food (RIWF) at The Royal Horticultural Halls in London on Tuesday, April 30th, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

At RIWF, you’ll have the unique opportunity to connect directly with over 80 wine and food producers from across Italy. Our event showcases a diverse range of both well-known and niche producers, some of whom are already distributed while others are seeking local importers.

In addition to the walk-around tasting, we are delighted to offer a series of masterclass sessions:

  • “A Modern Grand Tour – Sardinian Wine” by Peter McCombie, Master of Wine, at 11:30 AM

  • “Sicily: extra virgin olive oil - the Mediterranean diet" by Dr.Simon Poole at 1:30 PM

  • “The Italian Aperitif" an interactive seminar led by Valentina Harris starting at 15:30

Each masterclass will run for approximately one hour. As seating is limited, we encourage you to reserve your spot when registering for the general event.

A Modern Grand Tour: Italy has always had a rich culture in every respect; wine is no different. Always captivating and sometimes frustrating in its variety and complexity it is sometimes hard to know where to start exploring. Join Italophile Peter McCombie MW for a tour of the highways and byways of Sardinian wines, looking at both familiar names and niche producers. Be prepared to be surprised.

The Italian Aperitif: an interactive seminar led by Valentina Harris by award winning author of over 40 books on Italian food, Valentina Harris. Valentina is a well known celebrity chef and an experienced and enthusiastic teacher, sharing her food philosophy of seasonal local produce served with minimum fuss and maximum care..
